Close up portrait, head and shoulders shot on one side of the double spread.
Quotes in the bottom right corner.
On the right side of the spread, context about what’s happening, in my magazine this will be context about my documentary, who’s in it, when it will be aired on tv, what channel etc.
My intentions:
In my magazine spread it will include the interview with the
presenter that is sent on the journey in the documentary. The presenter has a personality
that will attract viewers so hearing what he has to say about the documentary
and journey he’s been sent on is quite important for the viewers to hear, quotes
will be included to leave the audience on cliff-hangers so they are then
excited/curios to find out what he’s found out. The presenter will also
announce when the show is airing, what channel and give his personal opinion on
everything he has experienced. The whole purpose of this is to engage viewers
through curiosity of what the presenter has discovered and unveiled, the
shocking reality and severity of young smokers in the UK. We’ll find out what
it is like to be sent on this journey and how it feels to find out and see how
many young kids in the UK do actually smoke and admit to possibly using illegal
drugs.
A close up photo of the presenter will be on the front cover
of the magazine as he is the personality and unique selling point of the
documentary, as soon as viewers see his face they’ll be attracted to reading
the article and find out what’s going on.
